How to Login to the MySmile App if I have never registered on the MySmile Portal?

For new Smile Nigeria customers who are yet to sign up on the MySmile Portal, please follow the step-by-step instructions below:

  1. Install the MySmile App.
  2. Open the MySmile App.
  3. Click on the “Register” option.
  4. Enter your SmileNumber/Username. You should have received this information via email when you joined Smile. If you need clarification about your SmileNumber or Username, please contact Smile Customer Care at 0702 444 4444 for assistance.
  5. Once you’ve entered your SmileNumber or Username, please choose a Password you will easily remember and document.
  6. Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy by ticking the required checkboxes.
  7. Click on the “SUBMIT”.
  8. Enter your Registered Mobile Number (GSM) to receive a 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP).
  9. Enter the OTP sent to your Smile Registered Mobile Number and click “VERIFY.”
  10. Congratulations! You are now successfully registered on the MySmile App.

How to change your Smile Password.

To change your Smile Mi-Fi password online, you can follow either of the methods (Online/MySmile App) mentioned below:

Method 1: Using the MySmile Portal

  1. Connect to your Smile Mi-Fi device using the default password on the back of your device.
  2. Open your default web browser on your device and visit the MySmile Portal.
  3. Enter your Smile admin login credentials to access your account. If you still need to register, please refer to the previous instructions on registering on Smile App/Online.
  4. Once logged in, navigate to the “Settings” section, then select “Wi-Fi,” and then “Basic Settings.”
  5. Under the “Basic Settings” section, you can change your password. Enter your desired new password.
  6. After changing the password, click the “Apply” button to save the changes.

Method 2: Using the MySmile App

  1. Ensure your phone has internet access to log in to the MySmile App.
  2. Download the MySmile App from either the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
  3. Open the MySmile App and log in using your Smile admin login credentials. If you still need to register, please refer to the previous instructions.
  4. Once logged in, go to the “Settings” section, then select “Wi-Fi,” and then “Basic Settings.”
  5. In the “Basic Settings” section, you can change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password. Enter your desired new password.

Please note that changing your password via USSD is not currently supported.
